In the British and European Art Online auction, the work View near Bettws-y-Coed, North Wales sold for GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,408.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by William Henry Mander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Llyn Crafnant, Trefriw, Wales in September 2001 with an auction result of GBP 5,875.00 (€ 9,485.62).
