In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Gathering Sedge, Shrewsbury River, New Jersey changed hands for USD 28,125.00 (€ 19,973.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Hahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Return Trip from Glacier Point in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 220,789.54).
