However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Davison - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The auxiliary steamer Tycho Brahe off the South Stack Lighthouse, Anglesey, which sold at auction in July 2004 for USD 9,560.00 (€ 7,945.48).
