In November 2011 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Point Of Land, Georgian Bay by William Goodridge Roberts. The price achieved of CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,307.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by William Goodridge Roberts have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work Yellow Table And Flowers was auctioned for CAD 18,000.00 (€ 13,930.98).
