Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Georgian Bay by William Goodridge Roberts. The price achieved of CAD 12,000.00 (€ 9,204.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by William Goodridge Roberts have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work Yellow Table And Flowers was auctioned for CAD 18,000.00 (€ 13,930.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Georgian Bay von William Goodridge Roberts zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 12.000,00 (€ 9.204,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von William Goodridge Roberts konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2012 die Arbeit Yellow Table And Flowers für CAD 18.000,00 (€ 13.930,98) versteigert.
