In the Maritime Art auction, the work A Crowded Harbour At Dusk; And Bustling Activity In The Harbour changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,561.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Edward Webb achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Quayside Fish Market At Douglas, Isle Of Man in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 17,925.00 (€ 25,785.02).
