This work of art by William Dorsey could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work California Landscape with Wildflowers changed hands for USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,563.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Dorsey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Valley in Bloom, which sold at auction in November 2002 for USD 3,346.00 (€ 3,368.91).
