Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Barn and Ranch in San Juan Mountains by William Dean Fausett was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of USD 637.50 (€ 563.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by William Dean Fausett have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Derby View in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,359.61).
