Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Model washing by William Brooker was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2005. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,539.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Brooker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work White Still Life in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 33,750.00 (€ 38,143.25).
