Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,232.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by William Brooker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White Still Life in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 33,750.00 (€ 38,143.25).

Die Arbeit Nude on a sofa von William Brooker kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.232,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
