Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by William Brooker was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2008. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 10,502.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Brooker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work White Still Life, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 33,750.00 (€ 38,143.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life von William Brooker kam im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 10.502,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von William Brooker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit White Still Life beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 33.750,00 (€ 38.143,25) versteigert wurde.
