Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dog Roses by William Boissevain was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in November 2003. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 8,225.00 (€ 4,961.74). Other works by William Boissevain have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 13,145.00 (€ 8,010.67) in August 2005 for the work River Flats.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 8.225,00 (€ 4.961,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von William Boissevain haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 13.145,00 (€ 8.010,67) im August 2005 für die Arbeit River Flats beobachtet.
