A top price for William Arthur Laurie Carrick - as previously expected
In August 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish and Sporting Pictures, which included the work Iona by William Arthur Laurie Carrick. The price achieved of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Iona is the most expensive artwork by William Arthur Laurie Carrick that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im August 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Scottish and Sporting Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iona von William Arthur Laurie Carrick zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.740,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
