In the Sporting Art and Dogs auction, the work Histon Drayman 9th, a heavy horse sold for GBP 3,346.00 (€ 4,979.85) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Albert Clark - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peele Belle, Oldborough Pleasant, Oldborough Belle, And Oldborough Duchess, Four Shirehorses, which sold at auction in November 2004 for GBP 8,962.50 (€ 12,892.51).
