The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of John, 2nd Duke of Argyll and 1st Duke of Greenwich (1680-1743), three-quarter-length, in a red coat with silver braid, wearing the sash and star of the Garter, a coastal fortress beyond in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 55,200.00 (€ 82,473.72).
