In November 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism., which included the work A Dutch Three-Master At Anchor In A Bay; And A Dutch Two-Master Braving The Waves by Willem Gruyter. The price achieved of EUR 6,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Willem Gruyter have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Marine. was auctioned for CHF 9,000.00 (€ 7,007.02).

Im November 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism. durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Dutch Three-Master At Anchor In A Bay; And A Dutch Two-Master Braving The Waves von Willem Gruyter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Willem Gruyter konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit Marine. für CHF 9.000,00 (€ 7.007,02) versteigert.
