The work Abraham and Isaac with the Angel by Willem Drost was worth USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,370.76) to a buyer in January 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Drost achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flora in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 4,625,000.00 (€ 4,284,787.85).
