The work Autumn Birches. by Wilho Sjöström was sold in the International Spring Sale, Helsinki F159 auction at Bukowski in Helsinki in May 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,100.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilho Sjöström - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman Posing., which sold at auction in December 2010 for EUR 7,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Autumn Birches. von Wilho Sjöström wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion International Spring Sale, Helsinki F159 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.100,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilho Sjöström mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman Posing. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für EUR 7.400,00 versteigert wurde.
