The work Roaring Lion by Wilhelm Kuhnert was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2021. The result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,819.76) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Kuhnert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German Grollende Löwen in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 645,000.00 (€ 566,833.64).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Roaring Lion von Wilhelm Kuhnert kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.819,76) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Kuhnert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit German Grollende Löwen im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 645.000,00 (€ 566.833,64).
