Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the Jungle - Tigers by Wilhelm Kuhnert was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,900.00 (€ 86,381.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Kuhnert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work German Grollende Löwen in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 645,000.00 (€ 566,833.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In the Jungle - Tigers von Wilhelm Kuhnert kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.900,00 (€ 86.381,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Kuhnert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit German Grollende Löwen im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 645.000,00 (€ 566.833,64).
