In July 2003 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction SOUTHEAST ASIAN AND 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES, which included the work Figure under palmtrees by Wilhelm Christiaan Constant Bleckmann. With this result, Figure under palmtrees is even the most expensive work of art by Wilhelm Christiaan Constant Bleckmann that we have observed at auctions so far.
