Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Children playing in a farmyard with their pets by Wilhelm Meyerheim was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in June 2008. The price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 1,905.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Meyerheim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Porträt der Stettiner Fabrikantenfamilie Johannes von Quistorp am Stettiner Haff in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 20,640.00.

Die Arbeit Children playing in a farmyard with their pets von Wilhelm Meyerheim wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 1.905,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Meyerheim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Porträt der Stettiner Fabrikantenfamilie Johannes von Quistorp am Stettiner Haff im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.640,00.
