A top price for Wesley Walters - as previously expected
In May 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction PAINTINGS FROM THE JOSEPH BROWN COLLECTION, which included the work Nude On Park Bench, Diptych by Wesley Walters. The price achieved of AUD 4,182.50 (€ 2,571.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nude On Park Bench, Diptych is the most expensive artwork by Wesley Walters that we have observed at auctions so far.
