Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Mirrors Of Apprehension Before The Sun #6 by Wesley Kimler for USD 127.50 (€ 107.47). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wesley Kimler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fallen Balloon, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 286.88 (€ 241.81).
