Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Freidorf (Bei Muttenz), 1925 by Werner Neuhaus was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 11,250.00 (€ 10,284.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Werner Neuhaus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Herbst In Paris (Am Seine Ufer), 1924 Autumn In Paris (At The Strand Of The River Seine), 1924, which sold at auction in June 2012 for CHF 35,000.00 (€ 29,126.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Freidorf (Bei Muttenz), 1925 von Werner Neuhaus kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 11.250,00 (€ 10.284,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Werner Neuhaus mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Herbst In Paris (Am Seine Ufer), 1924 Autumn In Paris (At The Strand Of The River Seine), 1924 beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für CHF 35.000,00 (€ 29.126,14) versteigert wurde.
