Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Wenzel Tornøe could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Mountain scenery with girls sitting at a lake changed hands for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wenzel Tornøe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Fra en Systue” in March this year with an auction result of DKK 180,000.00 (€ 24,155.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wenzel Tornøe konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Mountain scenery with girls sitting at a lake für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wenzel Tornøe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Fra en Systue” im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 180.000,00 (€ 24.155,63).
