Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A pair of hunting scenes by Wenzel Ignaz Prasch was sold in the European Noble and Private Collections auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2007. The price achieved of EUR 6,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wenzel Ignaz Prasch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sportsmen and their dogs halted on a path in the wood, which sold at auction in January last year for GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,347.56).
