Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'., which included the work Tiger Hill with the Yunyan Temple Tower, Suzhou China by Rei Weiyin. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rei Weiyin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring In Tianshan Park in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 11,108.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tiger Hill with the Yunyan Temple Tower, Suzhou China von Rei Weiyin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rei Weiyin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring In Tianshan Park im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 11.108,92).
