This artwork by Rei Weiyin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Scene Of Huqiu sold for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 10,675.67) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rei Weiyin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Spring In Tianshan Park sold at auction in October 2016 with the realized price of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 11,108.92).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rei Weiyin erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wurde die Arbeit Scene Of Huqiu für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 10.675,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rei Weiyin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Spring In Tianshan Park im Oktober 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 11.108,92).
