Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art (Part I), which included the work West Mountain by Wei Tianlin. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,327,500.00 (€ 118,362.94). Other works by Wei Tianlin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 120,533.00) in May 2006 for the work Beijing Palace.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art (Part I) durch, in der auch die Arbeit West Mountain von Wei Tianlin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.327.500,00 (€ 118.362,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Wei Tianlin haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 120.533,00) im Mai 2006 für die Arbeit Beijing Palace beobachtet.
