The work Landscape by Wei Tianlin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2007. It achieved a price of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 31,460.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wei Tianlin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beijing Palace, which sold at auction in May 2006 for HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 120,533.00).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Wei Tianlin kam im April 2007 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 31.460,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wei Tianlin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beijing Palace beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 120.533,00) versteigert wurde.
