The work Who'S Who No. 1 by Wei Guangqing was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Art II auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2007. It achieved a price of HKD 168,000.00 (€ 15,730.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wei Guangqing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Wall - Coca Cola, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 450,000.00 (€ 45,773.54).

Die Arbeit Who'S Who No. 1 von Wei Guangqing wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Art II bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 168.000,00 (€ 15.730,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wei Guangqing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Wall - Coca Cola beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 450.000,00 (€ 45.773,54) versteigert wurde.
