Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Wall series: Offer a Sacrifice to Heaven by Wei Guangqing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,916.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wei Guangqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Wall - Coca Cola in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 450,000.00 (€ 45,773.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Red Wall series: Offer a Sacrifice to Heaven von Wei Guangqing kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.916,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wei Guangqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Wall - Coca Cola im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 450.000,00 (€ 45.773,54).
