A top price for Wartan Mahokian - as previously expected
In March 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work La Mer by Wartan Mahokian. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,920.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Mer is the most expensive artwork by Wartan Mahokian that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Mer von Wartan Mahokian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.920,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist La Mer das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wartan Mahokian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
