The work Two Magpies by Wang Ziwu was worth HKD 402,500.00 (€ 43,721.94) to a buyer in June 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintings Online at Bonhams in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wang Ziwu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Li Bai and Chao Heng in May this year with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 377,562.42).

Die Arbeit Two Magpies von Wang Ziwu war einem Käufer im Juni 2021 HKD 402.500,00 (€ 43.721,94) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Ziwu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Li Bai and Chao Heng im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 377.562,42).
