Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eagle by Wang Ziwu was sold in the Asian Art including Paintings from the Wong Family Collection auction at Bonhams in Sydney in August this year. The price achieved of AUD 2,706.00 (€ 1,614.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Ziwu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Li Bai and Chao Heng in May this year with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 377,562.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eagle von Wang Ziwu wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art including Paintings from the Wong Family Collection bei Bonhams in Sydney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 2.706,00 (€ 1.614,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Ziwu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Li Bai and Chao Heng im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 377.562,42).
