The work Lotus And Frogs by Wang Ziwu was worth HKD 252,500.00 (€ 27,428.05) to a buyer in June 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Bonhams in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Ziwu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Li Bai and Chao Heng in May this year with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 377,562.42).

Die Arbeit Lotus And Frogs von Wang Ziwu war einem Käufer im Juni 2021 HKD 252.500,00 (€ 27.428,05) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Ziwu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Li Bai and Chao Heng im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 377.562,42).
