Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Crane by Wang Ziwu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,600.00 (€ 9,076.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Ziwu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Li Bai and Chao Heng in May this year with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 377,562.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Crane von Wang Ziwu wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.600,00 (€ 9.076,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Ziwu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Li Bai and Chao Heng im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 377.562,42).
