Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2013 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Five-Character Poem in Running Script by Wang Zhuangwei. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 9,200.00 (€ 873.03), 15% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Zhuangwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 92,000.00 (€ 10,632.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five-Character Poem in Running Script von Wang Zhuangwei zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 9.200,00 (€ 873,03) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Zhuangwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 92.000,00 (€ 10.632,50).
