This artwork by Wang Yiping achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Lady In The Summer Garden sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,873.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wang Yiping; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot As Time Goes By sold at auction in April 2016 with the realized price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,899.75).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Yiping erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lady In The Summer Garden für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.873,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wang Yiping; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit As Time Goes By im April 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.899,75).
