It achieved a price of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,114.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yiping - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work As Time Goes By, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,899.75).

Die Arbeit Ladies By The Lotus Pond von Wang Yiping kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.114,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yiping mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit As Time Goes By beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.899,75) versteigert wurde.
