A top price for Wang Yemei - as previously expected
The work Figures, Geese and Rocks by Wang Yemei was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,418.65), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Figures, Geese and Rocks is the most expensive artwork by Wang Yemei that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Figures, Geese and Rocks von Wang Yemei wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.418,65) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00.
