Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Eight -Characters Couplet In Seal Script by Wang Xun was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 21,240.00 (€ 2,588.24). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Xun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eight -Characters Couplet In Seal Script von Wang Xun kam im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 21.240,00 (€ 2.588,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Xun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) versteigert wurde.
