A top price for Wang Xiangming

This artwork by Wang Xiangming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2007. In the Contemporary Chinese Art (Part II) auction, the work without title sold for HKD 631,500.00 (€ 56,305.99) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Wang Xiangming that we have observed at auctions so far.
