Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Su achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction, the work Lady sold for HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,494.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Su achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children at Play in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 3,725,000.00 (€ 432,031.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Su erzielte im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia wurde die Arbeit Lady für HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.494,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Su erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children at Play im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.725.000,00 (€ 432.031,04).
