It achieved a price of USD 610,000.00 (€ 542,801.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Shouren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Letter To The Family, which sold at auction in March 2013 for USD 1,925,000.00 (€ 1,502,028.71).
