A top price for Wang Shoupeng - as previously expected
The work Calligraphy by Wang Shoupeng was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 9,600.00 (€ 9,803.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy is the most expensive artwork by Wang Shoupeng that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Wang Shoupeng kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 9.600,00 (€ 9.803,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Calligraphy das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Shoupeng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
