Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Fruits by Wang Rong. The price achieved of HKD 35,280.00 (€ 4,265.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Rong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Various Subjects, which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,217.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fruits von Wang Rong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 4.265,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Rong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Various Subjects beobachtet, die im September 2018 für USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.217,69) versteigert wurde.
