Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Wang Pan-Youn was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,197.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Pan-Youn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lonely Bird in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 84,086.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wang Pan-Youn wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.197,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Pan-Youn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lonely Bird im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 84.086,58).
