The work NOSTALGIA by Wang Pan-Youn was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,546.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Pan-Youn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lonely Bird, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 725,000.00 (€ 84,086.58).

Die Arbeit NOSTALGIA von Wang Pan-Youn wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.546,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Pan-Youn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lonely Bird beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 725.000,00 (€ 84.086,58) versteigert wurde.
